Meals on Wheels of the Senior Adult Activities Center of Montgomery County (Montco SAAC) is a partnership between dedicated volunteers and spirited clients who, despite the challenges of age or disability, are determined to live independently in their own homes and communities. Clients receive two meals a day, Monday through Friday.

For more then four decades, Meals on Wheels of Montco SAAC has served the area residents of 25 municipalities. The mission to maintain independence has not changed, but the program has become more than just meals. Volunteers not only deliver hot meals, but also frozen and special diet meals. It becomes more than meals when our volunteers visit and socialize with the recipient.

At the heart of our organization is a very large force of volunteers. The dedication of more than 200 citizens makes all the services possible—it couldn't happen without them! Every day we deliver more than a meal and transportation; we're also delivering a bit of hope, independence and friendship, one smile at a time.
